Well it’s still Summer season here in Spokane Washington and the weather is nice warm and sunny. Sometimes it gets pretty hot. When it does get hot over here I love to enjoy something cold and refreshing. There are many kinds of dishes or deserts people make for themselves to cool down in Summer season. Since I lived close by Russia I remember and still enjoy from time to time some of the yummy Russian Summer dishes.

Since I pretty much have all or most of the popular fruits, vegetables, nuts, and meats in my blog collection, I decided to update some of the very first ones. My earlier article posts weren’t as detailed, full, and interesting as newer ones. I believe that I have never tried Rhubarb or Rheum Rhabarbarum vegetable, so that means I really don’t know how it tastes. Not too long ago one of my relatives offered me to try one of these Rhubarb vegetable stalks, but since I wasn’t sure about this vegetable I decided not to try it. In Russian language Rhubarb is called Pевень. Some people refer to Rhubarb as a vegetable but some refer to it as a fruit because of the regulation, duties, and tax purposes. Some people from around the world prefer to eat Rhubarbs raw and some prefer to cook it. Just to warn you, the leaves on this vegetable are toxic, so try to avoid eating them. People claim that fresh and raw stalks from Rhubarb are as crisp as a Celery and that they have a strong tart taste to them.
Today it is an very nice sunny day here in Spokane Washington and I am thinking of making some more of the Strawberry Shakes that I made recently. For the last few days it was pretty rainy here in Spokane, but today it’s like, Wow! So, the way I made my Strawberry Shake recently was like this.
