Cassava is very popular because of its Starchy Edible Root. Also, Cassava root is one of the largest sorces of carbohydrates in the world. Cassava can be classified as sweet or toxic depending on its toxicity.

Warning! You must know how to prepare the Cassava plant the proper way. If you’ll prepare the Cassava Vegetable improperly, then you will cause someone or yourself to get a disease called Konzo. Konzo or Mantakassa is an epidemic paralytic disease usually caused by insufficient processing of bitter Cassava. So, remember to cook it properly in order to detoxify Cassava before eating it. Breadfruit trees can grow as high as 85 feet or 26 meters, and they provide people with a special milky juice that can be used for boat caulking. Under the right conditions Breadfruit tree can produce as much as 200 fruits each year. People claim that Breadfruit is very starchy and tastes like a potato or a fresh baked bread. People from around the world prefer the Breadfruit either Fried, Boiled, Baked, or Roasted.

Breadfruit needs to be cooked before eating. Some people mix the Breadfruit with Coconut milk and then bake it in Banana leaves. Agave Nutrients and Health Benefits

Agave VegetableAgave vegetables are not Cactus Plants and they are not Aloe Plants. Agave plants are from Agavaceae family and have more than 200 different species. Agave Americana, Agave Angustifolia, Agave Tequilana, and Agave Attenuata are the most commonly grown species of Agave Vegetable. The Agave’s Flowers, leaves, stalks (basal rosettes), and the sap (honey water) are all edible for humans. Lychee – Litchi Nutrients and Benefits

Lychee Litchi Laichi LichuLychee is a fruit and it comes from an Evergreen Tropical and Subtropical Tree that is mainly found in Asia, Mexico, or South Africa. Lychees are also called Litchi, Laichi, and Lichu. Lychee tree produces beautiful flowers that can be either yellowish white or greenish white. Lychee fruit smells good and tastes sweet. It has a rough and reddish shell that is not edible and can be removed easily. Inside of the Lychee people say there is a Poisonous  seed that looks like a buckeye nut. People around the world like to enjoy Lychees in many different kinds of Desserts. People like to enjoy Lychee fruits not only for their good smell and sweet taste, but also because of the high amount of Vitamin C. In about one cup of Raw Lychees people get 226% of Vitamin C, now that is very nice :) but becareful, many candies that are made out of Lychee fruits are artificially flavored or contain high amounts of High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS – a very deadly ingredient). Vitamin C extremely supports and improves your immune system, but HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) extremely destroys your immune system, and just because the commercials try to make you believe that since HFCS is from “Natural” corn does NOT mean that it’s healthy. You see, they used natural products to make deadly products just so they could make the foods last longer on the shelves of the grocery stores. So, we recommend that you check out the ingredient list before buying Lychee candy, instead try finding Raw or Dried Lychees without any added poison. Jerusalem Artichoke Nutrients and Benefits

Jerusalem Artichoke - Sunroot - Sunchoke - TopinamburJerusalem Artichoke is a Herbaceous and Perennial Plant. It can also be called Sunroot, Sunchoke, Earth Apple, or Topinambur. Jerusalem Artichoke plant looks like a skinny and tall sunflower and it actually is a specie of the sunflower. Jerusalem Artichoke can have yellow flowers on top of it and green leaves on its body, but the root is very similar to the ginger root. Overall, the Jerusalem Artichoke can grow up to almost ten feet or three meters. The Raw Root of the Jerusalem Artichoke has a crisp texture and taste to it, similar to potatoes, and it can be either White, Red, Purple, or Brownish in color. You probably noticed the Jerusalem part in one of the names of this plant, but to tell you the truth, people really don’t know why it is called Jerusalem Artichoke, because as far as we all know this plant has nothing to do with Jerusalem. Also, you see the Artichoke part of the name for this plant, and again as far as we know there is no reason for this plant to be called an artichoke, except that some French explorer noted that the dish that was made with this Jerusalem Artichoke resembled the real Artichoke Vegetable. Somewhere in Europe in the year 2002 this Jerusalem Artichoke was named as The Best Soup Vegetable. Some people more prefer the Jerusalem Artichoke to be steamed than boiled.
